Located in the center of Paris, and once again common question come about... how did this architecture managed to survive through the French Revolution? (Anyway its time for me to do alittle research since I am so free now! Haha.)

Anyway several website online solved my question. The cathedral suffered desecration during the radical phase of the French Revolution in the 1790s, which destroyed most of the religious imagery. Thanks god it was restored back in 19th century to its previous state otherwise... I wouldn’t had the honor to be taking picture with it now.

At first I was wondering what the hell are those pillars all around the building, well internet solved all my QQQQQ. They are actually Flying Buttresses used as an supports around the outside walls as Gothic style been getting popular during that period with thinner walls pushed outward.

Destination number two, Pompidou Centre. The whole building looks like an construction building with functional structure elements of the building were well colour-coded.

We bought the full ticket that allows us to finish all the galleries and... i love the gallery for Dreamlands best. Everything, every illusion a child wished for... they have came to live in here.

They have so much pieces and pieces of arts. At first everything seem great, exciting or you can call it cool. But as I walk in further... I started feeling dizzy and sick. They said the artistes themselves are being expressive, showing their feeling, emotion, creativity, thinking and life affecting factors into their works, but WHY most seems so sick and gruesome to me?

It's actually meat. This artiste was trying to interpret how to get back raw, basic. Having pieces of flesh on the model, what message you thought of at the very first place? Well for me, I suggest to save it for Jamie's dinner. He will definitely be pleased to have them all for himself.

On our way to next shopping destination for Chanel. Yes for Chanel but everything was delay for the riot. Not sure what was going on... but but but... I was so excited. Finally made it to Arch of Victory. I'm dead. I mean my feet.

Full day in Palace of Versailles! Thanks to Gaby recommendation we get a chance to explore this place. It's amazing (Just like Nas!) HAHA..

The Palace of Versailles is also known as Chateau de Versailles. When Chateau was built, Versailles was just merely a country village. The court of Versailles has always been the center of political power in France from 1682, till the royal family was forced to return to the capital in 1789. Therefore this Palace became famous for the symbol of absolute monarchy of the Ancient Regime, which is also now one of the world's most beautiful Palace. (No doubts!)

Woke up so early this morning, to make sure we have enough time to finish the whole palace.. but unfortunately all the souvenir stores are so tempting…! That’s so Paris, they make you desire and before you realize you are already buying non-stop!

Alright we started our morning we the best American Coffee from Starbucks. Most likely Nas would be jealous to death at the point of time when she saw us with STARBUCKS. Hahas. You can consider borrowing our coffee machine at home! WAHAHA....

Our journey begins in queuing up since we did not purchase our ticket online.... this queue wasted 1hour of our precious time. Humps! Anyway we first proceed to the Main Palace.

This place is open to local for picnic, water sport and family outing. Now, I desire for a French man.... I wanna start a family here with my kids having a family outing here every weekend.

Paris Tre

Eiffel Tower in the morning... everything seem like miniature when you are so high up. Out of the sudden i felt HUGE and a sudden urge to scream out like Gorilla just like what most romance drama.

And so far all the tourist attractions I went, I can't resist not buying something in their souvenir stores. Everything are delicately designed and displayed.

They also has a small area that displayed some of their old Eiffel tower inspired products. This piece is my favorite among all. Wearing this pair of heels, you felt as though Eiffel seem small yet strong that's supporting your entire weight. What you think?

Thanks god we bought our tickets online, otherwise we gonna end up like this!

When we finished our hours of “HIGH” tour, found a nice spot where we had a picnic lunch and enjoying the kisses from the sun. Right time for humming “life seem so good....”

and by the time we finished our lunch it too late, Angel's butt is stained by the mud since the grass patches is not fulling dry yet. Butt-cleaning-time!

Okay some sort of accident happening in the subway, all trains are suspended for few hours. So before we get to our next destination... we rental bicycle along the street for some thrilling moments in Paris.

ohya along the way we happened to pass-by a outlet boutique and I found this cute little thing under the desk. Timid like Jamie, but so damn freaking cute!

When I tried hugging him to take a picture, see what happened.....! Ended up we were in such weird poses! HAHAHA

Finally after hours of unexpected delay, we reached our final destination -The Louvre.

Paris Day Two -L.O.V.E

Finding love in Paris? Mmm… better not… I prefer shopping! Haha… Alright lets me share with you my journey of the day.

So first we pass by Eglise Saint Jean I’Evangeliste Church built since 1894. In Europe church, any church we happened to pass by, they amaze us by their each special charactertistic.

I can't help but notice those colourful boutique that I passes by. They are bright and all you wanna do is to check out every single items they sell. For this following pictures is a boutique sell DIY lights, you can customize the colour you want to matches your furnitures or so...

As for this… their products are so creative. They have even more cute products, probably you should wait till I upload them into my facebook nia!

So Paris.

Along the way to Montmarte old district which its hill is 130meters high. The name of the surrounding district are given during the 18th arrondissement, as a part of the Right Bank. Montmartre is primarily known for Basilica of the Sacre of Coeur which is located at the summit of the hill.

Instead of taking the treno up the hill, we decided walk up!

Lately it been raining, so decided after a short shopping for souvenir around the district, we headed toward the most historical, fashionable and well-known for its creative window display worldwide -Gallery Lafayette. The French department store is located near to Opera Garnier, always filled with the latest men and women's designer collections all under one roof. This store is also famous of its slick-sensuous glass roof.

The series of walking, my feet are totally tired. We took a break by the cafe, watching the crowd on the street docking from the rain and people queuing for flower gelato.

In Paris, you can forget about love, sex but not Laduree. Haha. Im serious, just like corinne/aaron saying, “it’s better than sex!”

P/s: Probably Florence is too boring, the moment I stepped into Paris, I felt normal again.

Paris Day one

Few days of normal days and back to chaos hours catching plane, taking a train out of town to pisa and in less than 2hours… now im in France.

I used to complain (partly this is what on of Singaporean hobby) that hell about our and shanghai train system and outlook. But here I am in Paris, I know how lucky I used to be. Their underground train is scary, messy, smelly and changing from one train to another is crazy. Impossible to find any lifts or esclators.

First evening in Paris, but I felt so exhuasted though I did not do anything other than carrying my luggage from one place to another….

Rest well for tomorrow.

Capri Island.

Instead of going Ischia island this morning, we went to Capri! The 45minutes ship journey to the island is totally worth it…

And here I am!

We walked up the hill to get overlook the amazing view of the sea. By right we have the intention of renting a boat to drive along the coast as this island is famous for its crystal clear sea water during sunny day just like today.

At first we were suppose to take a bus back to the sea but unfortunately we have no time left. So hired a super luxuourious taxi to drive us down the ferry port.

Our day ended by taking the first class cabin ferry back to Naples! ^^

P/s: I miss this ultra-large beggar dog from Naples.

Pompei

9hours of sleep didn’t seem enough for me. Felt so tired when I rise from bed and getting ready for Pompei.

Short train trip to Pompei….. Pompei is a city within the Naples province in Campania.

This city was destoryed and completely buried during a long catastrophic eruption in 79AD and was completely forgotten for nearly 1600years before its accidental rediscovery around 1592.

During the digging proceduce, many ancient walls with paintings and inscriptions were discovered. To have enough money to preserves these historical items, Pompei has been opened to tourists for 250years.

Lets my journey begins!

Attended the wine tasting within Pompei city itself. =)

The sky look so dark, heng it never rain otherwise we were be so dead. None of the place here is sheltered other than the wine tasting house!

Hate waking up so early…. Arrrgghhhz…. But I still have to. This morning I have to take the second earliest train to Napoli together with Cerus.

So the first thing is to check in to our hotel. (For your info we took 1hour buying the stupid return train ticket and another hour getting our way to the hotel.)

By the way our bell-boy is so good looking. Awww….. Up till now I can still remember his face, not the eye (too shy to look directly into his eye) the shirt and navy cardigan he wore and black staple skinny jeans.

First we walk to the Duomo- Capella Di San Gennaro. Twice a year, a vial of the Saint’s blood were be brought out on first Saturday in May and 19 Septmeber, liquesfied. According to legend is the blood fails to liquefy, bad sign of something will happen to Naples.

Along the next destination to St. Domenico Maggiore, we were pass by the street “Via S.Gregorio” where its one of the most famous historica street in Naples. Happen to come across workshop of wood structure. They are actually called Neapolitan Cribs. Some of them are made into house lighting deco. Too bad I can’t buy them back, to have a little house in my house. Haha…

Our legs were terribly exhuasted. We decided to take bus 2R to our next destination, Castel Nuovo. We alighted near to the cruise terminal, Aliscafi terminal.

Castel Nuovo, if you were to directly translate it refers to New Castle.

Within the castle, there are a Pinocchio exhibition and most of the drawings were actually drawn by children. Come join me and enter the children's world!

Next lets continue to the next storey of the castle. This is called Le Porte di Bronzo. There is a cannonball hole on the bronze door itself, which is the original 15 century door of the castle which is removed by the French in 1496 and later returned back to the castle.

From the 15century stairways, it will leads us to the famous Sala dei Baroni. In 1486 the King Ferrante I of Aragon invited the barons who plotted against him, to celebrates his granddaughter's marriage to the son of Count of Sarno were arrested and executed.

The monumental room is an enormous cube with a star-shaped vaulted ceiling originally decorated by Giotto in the 14 century.

But well if you want to know more about this castle. Goggle about it! Definitely you wouldn't want to miss the story of "The Crocodile Pit."

Did I tell you I am planning to get marry soon? Yes… and it’s going to be in this castle with my prince charming. I need more fairy tales and so excited Prof. Paco is going to touch on this topic in class soon. :)))

We pass-by Galleria Umberto Primo. It used to be the world largest glass-roofed arcade before 9years later Galleria Vittorio Emanuele was built in Milan. The Arcade is cross-shaped, with mosaic of the zodiac designed in the centre of the floor tiles.

In between Palazzo Reale and Palazza Plebiscito where I took pictures with all these big poster “Save the Bears” campaign.

Last destination of the day, Castel Dell’Ovo which is located on the stream of the sea. Beautiful when glow of the sunset shines onto the castle.

Doubting Luxury Services!

I gave mum a call this morning before school telling her my this coming weekend plans. She kept asking where is this place? “Ya… go google about it!”

Rain was so heavy after school and I still had to go to the Santa Maria Novella train station with Cerus to buy our ticket for our weekend trip. The handle of my umbrella was broken and each time I used it, it seem as though it going to fly away soon. And finally today… it did! Marvelous!

We had lunch together while waiting for the rain to stop. So by the time went we are ready to get going… the rain is gone, but the wind is still so strong. No doubt non of my hairs resist from standing. Haha… Transformation into a poky ruby. Anyway I got myself a blazer along my shopping. I always wanted a pure white one that makes me stand out, and most importantly it is still as easy to mix and match like black outer. It goes perfect with my this season look. Causal yet subtle sophiscation. I need some colours in my wardrobe, since last few months all my new clothing are mainly black, white and grey. Time to welcome some brightness!

P/s: Chanel has the worst service among all the luxury brands I visited so far in Florence. Unhappy because she is serving a chinese who can afford it?

Last night I gave up my bed and share with Aaron. So funny… I am expecting him to scream at me in the morning for kicking and snatching blanket. Fortunately I was really well behaved last night…

In the early afternoon, we all packed and headed to Goii’s place to help up for the party tonight. She is celebrating her birthday with us and… we the Singaporeans and one Indonesian are going to help her out in cooking! (No worries I am well-trained now, food posioning is rarely happening…!)

Everyone is happy with the food just that forever our party never managed to make it to desert. Goii was drunk, we left the dessert alone since none of us know how to cook it.

Indo in Singaporean House

Friday gonna be a good night! Indeed as expected. We invited Angel over to our place for sleep over and dinner. Though we wanted to invite her whole household, but our house is too small. Probably next round ya!

So we cooked grill salmon, brocolli with wine, lasagna and Hamlets. Of course such wonderful dinner must always goes along with some wine. Got kinda crazy, totally skipped our movie night and started wine mixing.

That’s how we got our dear Angel drunk and… we loving it! HAHA. Some laptop snatching and hair pulling!

P/s: we do have horrible videos of what we did. But its too crazy and it is so gonna destroy our image once it uploaded. Scandalous...

Textile Factory in Prato, Italy

Honesty I myself aint sure am I schooling now? Or whether am I just treating this as an Eurotrip? I mean… school? Ya… One whole day out for excursion again… and that’s all for today.

Beautiful blue sky on our way…. all I wanted was to lie down a patch of grasses with my straw-hat covering my face while I fall asleep in peace.

Well, probably I should make sure of this time to figure out when my next stage of life. Feeling really scare because currently I am half-way everywhere. In two months time, graduated and yet still jobless.

Alright this morning we went to another textile factory in Prato, Italy. Whole new of experience how they handle wool, cotton and so on… Wash, steam, dry, quality check on fabrics and mmm…. Might be your favourite part! Seeing the employees nude images all around. They call this “entertainment” and we called them “experiences!” Hahah…

The Mall, Italy Outlet!

Thanks for asking how am I. Perfectly fine and I need some shopping please. So sick of such peacefulness. Florence is beautiful, elegant, historical but its making me bored.

Anyway after class I joined Milian and Ceres to The Mall, the outlets of luxury store. Unfortuntely we never have such thingy in Singapore! Sob sob…. Anyway after 1 hour of shuttle bus ride… Here we are at The Mall.

I am looking for a nice bag which suits my personality… but nothing up to my liking or not worth the price. Ended up I am just home with a pair of Tods.

Classy and elegant. Time to grow into a slightly mature lady. Gonna get one for my mum too! Anyway sky is turning dark… feeling so hungry… Was thinking about food the whole journey back.

Happy Mother’s day! Since it’s a holiday and Sunday… nearly all the shop are close. We were so excited as our main street are closed for the once a year flea market. I got myself one pairs of plum and sandal. along the way to Goii’s place.

They are perfect for me!

Lunch at Goii’s place is amazing. I love her house, and I want it to be mine. Ohya the poor Aaron went to help out our landlord to fix the new cabinet that he had bought for him. Ohhh… they are so nice.

We also can't help to stop by and shop at the flea market just below Goii's place. I wanted a vintage bag too, but its too pricey! Probably next round.

While purchasing dry mango, I noticed that I was cheated by some fellows. When you aint checking your stuffs properly, that's what normally gonna happen. Unlucky me!

Been too busy, totally have no time for myself. Just myself. By right I am suppose to go to Kelli’s place for lunch as Corinne is going to introduce us her new friend.

Another school outing to the outskirt of Florence to visit one of the most fashionable italy textile company, Tessuti Iannuzzi. Fabalous to see how they design textile, choice of colour with software programs.

Okay this is the cool software I am talking about from the start! Cannot imagine someday I, myself might print my own face on it! WAHAHAH…. Crazy thinking I know…

And the director of the company designed this fabric for the Pope vest to keep him warm during the night ceremony.

Straight after we headed to Centro per l'Arte Contemporanea Museum to visit Paolo Canevari exhibition "Nobody Knows."

He often used tires as his material for most of his works, translating how he felt and what he wanted to share with people around him. The weakness, strength and using dog vs god as part of his inspiration.

Trying to interpret that we could not wash off the blood on our hands after all the wars and sins that we have done.

Video Clip. Can't remember the title of this work, but anyway this short shows a person throwing and playing around with pig hearts, the blood was all splashing all over him. The sound might be disgusting but when come to think what he is trying to interpret, you will understand… actually we are the ugliest one deep inside.

Bus jounrey to Cavalli (which is outskirt of florence) allows me to get back to sleep a little longer… I miss my bed espiecally during such rainy morning.

As usual, the backscene of fashion is never glamourous. Nothing! But they give you experiences, ideas, knowledge how such amazing stuffs comes about!

So today we are here in Cavalli’s factory to check out their coming 2011 Spring Summer collection in process. These huges machines produce crystal clear fabric printing images are amazing! My classmates from china was saying: “I never seen such beautiful fabric printing in any of china factory! This is ‘Quality’ and so is the price.”

Anyway after school, actually wanted to join Gaby and Corinne for museum visiting unfortuntely it’s close on Monday! Working in florence seem a good idea, because the people you hardly see them really WORKING! They open late, close for at least 2 hours for lunch break, and most store ends their day at around 7pm.

So what’s is working life here?

We started walking around, around and that's how shopping desire comes about!

Come across this store that sells beautiful cards. So nice and tempted to buy! 6Euro for each! Crazily priced.

My favourite handmade cosmetics store. I bought two hand moisturizing bar and they smell awesome! HAHA...

And... spotted something cute while crossing the bridge to get home. So cute, looking out of the window. Wonder does my Jamie but obviously not my Pepper (he is hardly taller than my pot!)

Instead joining my classmates for lunch today, I wanted try getting home myself. I don’t care I just wanna try out. Though I lost my way couple of time and finally in an hour I managed to get home before crossing the street oppsite my place to “Penny Supermarketo.”

I did some cooking in the wine and now I am relaxing with my new bottle of wine and thinking what the fuck is happpening to me. Am I missing something out or I am losing myself? I thought I am in control but with that someone in mind whenever anyone question I am in the damn maze again.

Just like what you mention “the strong women is just a cover, I needed something better!” Yea, probabaly do but it just doesn’t work any longer, totally dissapointed in myself now.

Should I talk to him? Leave with him? Live with him? Fuck who am I thinking?

P/s: Mum trying to settle my life. I should. I should. I should do something able it rather always depending on someone to help me out which often doesn’t work!

Did I mention to you due to some reason we actually have class in a hotel convection hall? Well if I did not, shall I forgive me for updating you guys so late. Haha..

Morning class was stupid with Anasatasica, another russia just like my lovely classmate who happen to have the same name and came from the same town as her. What a small world I would say. So after class we have our classmates, Leo and Millian who brought us to their favoriteoizza resturant next to Stella M Station.

We had our short gocergy shopping together before heading to Millian’s place which is really near to school and cosy. I notice most of the italian house have at least few pieces of be it furnitures or candles “MUST” be from our all time loveable Ikea. I always love them, always! I swear!

Anyway after that we been house searching from first house to the second one took us like an hour. SO in total it was like nearly three of walking. We settled with the second place which is excellent. Our host, Laura actually drive us back to our friend’s place to collect our luggage bags and return to our house. Oh ya, our house are really beautiful, just like the resort house I stayed in Spain. Beautiful hall, excellent kitchen with everything in there, perfect wardrobe room and unbelievable electronic controlled windows.

All the windows in here are sound proof as we are suitated next to the road, so it’s prefect! Nothing we can ask for! Here we are, with everything settled and all I need to get done is my bank account. Hopefully I could get them done tomorrow.

P/s: Champagne and wine here are so fucking cheap! I get good wine at just around 2euro. OMG let me be drunk in them.

Excursion to top brand factory checking out what the hell or magic they cast on their products that makes us go wu-la-la… and probably some people spend their entire month income on it.

My gucci tag, a little cheapo to me when I received a card that its logo is nearly wash-off!

First fabric introduction, materials, and processes required for leather which is totally awesome! I am sorry because they are producing their next season collection that’s why we are not allowed to take any pictures in their leather manufacturering and designing department.

Alright this is the top secret place that I mentioning… Sooo… I only managed to snap a picture of their leather manufacturing.. It's gonna be purple! Haha…

This morning I woke up at 5.30am (Amsterdam time), get ready, bid goodbye to my dorm mates (super nice Shanghainese) and off to the reception desk for my driver to send me to Schiphol Airport.

There I was in airport started my shopping, checking out the duty-free store, getting my watch battery fixed and presents for my temporary room mates. I bought them the awesome holland famous cameral waffle. Trust me, each bites sweeten up my day.

The bottle is cool, but I can't buy unless I am paying TAX! Which I am so super sure it is gonna be so expensive. Forget about.

Seafood restaurant-Bubbles? Nope, just a cafe but it look so nice. Sitting by the window you can get to see plane landing and the beautiful sun rise. OOOhhh….

Can't wait to board the plane for my second round of sleeping. Yawning*

Finally here I am in Fireze! Both andrea and I were so SHOCK when we notice Florence airport is so SMALL! Piccolo! Probably the size of Wisma Atria Level 1. I swear nothing more than that! So ya… we took a bus to SM Station before taking a cab to Gaby’s place.

They are so sweet, organised a lunch party for us. Touched!

We had our handphone all place in a row.

After lunch they accompany us to go around to search for apartment. Well it nice, with the view of the river and just 5minutes walk away from school but too small and extremely expensive.

First mini-one-seater car I spotted since I am in Italy. Camera time!

Oh ya, Kelli brought us to her so-called-best-gelato-in-firenze! The crowd within the store is so packed. All I could said, it worth fighting for!

Dinner time, Kelli cooked for Tortellini. During the night we watched a movie together in the hall before heading to bed.

Do ask me how my flight with KLM. You don’t feel a sense of royal at all for your info. The air-stewdaress look old and her skins were so awful. Even the old granny from australia thinks so too! She was telling her yearly trip to Amsterdam, non-stop praises to this beautiful place. I was thinking in my heart… well… hold on.. I gonna check out myself when I step into the Netherland.

Here I am…

To be honest I could not believe the people here is so awesome friendly, and super nice! Throughout the whole solo journey to my hotel… I met a number of kind soul who helped me.

Kind Soul List:

First in the airport, stranger 1 brought me to the train information counter to get a ticket to Sloterdijk Station.

Stranger 2, a super young lady who mentioned she is only 14 taught me the platform to catch my express train to Amsterdam Center.

A pair of old couple who just came back from tokyo noticed that I board onto the wrong train helped me carry my luggage all the way to the right trailway and making sure that I won’t catch the wrong one again.

Stranger 5, accompany me to bus stop so that I can get bus number 19 –straight bus all the way to my hotel.

My last kind soul of the day, bus driver of 19 noticed that I doesn’t have the exact change for my tickets, all he did was “lucky girl, it’s a free ride for you tonight. Get in!”

All of the sudden I can’t helped by begin humming the song “Angel in disguise.”

I mean if Singaporean could be half of them, the chinese in china could be quarter of them and the rest of the world being influence by them… this world gonna be perfect!

Currently I am having dinner in a resturant opposite my hotel which surprising opened till 3am but I doubt I can stay that long. I have a really early flight to catch tomorrow morning to Florence. Now how much I wished I could stay here longer… this place is like heaven with angels all around.

It should be 6am Singapore time now, but I don’t feel a sense of tiriness. Ah-huh.. I forgotten this kinda timing I should be still watching my korean drama at home.

Psps: Mum must be worried all over my solo solo! I am fine and happily meeting and chatting with people all around.

Pspsps: Already been so far away, I didn’t expect my dorm mates are from Shanghai too! Nice chatty people, probably I might conisder taking their msn! Shall see shall see…

Serene accompanys me to KLM office this afternoon at Shenton Way. She is late again! (Is this a new news? Of course not!) Forever and ever she will push all the blame to bus number 317!

Coffee and tea, standard time and next we went off for a short Jolin visit at Queentowns. Surprisingly, we got onto the free shuttle bus! Whooohooo… lucky bitches!

I thought I was lucky. I really though so… But what… I am still here now. At first Andrea told me me to be on stand-by, anytime we might be flying off tonight but unfortunately I am still here.

We had lunch at Ashton in They Cathey. Thanks goodness the queue wasn’t that long as compared the number of times I passed by. Probably the peak time is over?

Okay I know it’s an excuse again.. “because of the rain I am late.” But luckily I am still earlier as compared to Serene. Haha… Cause she didn’t even appear nia~!

So just Tracy and I went for high tea when the whole city is wet. For your info we gossip a lot arrr… so everything is censored and not gonna be shown on my blog entry! HAHA.

Anyway I brought Tracy for shopping under Norman command. Waoh.. I made this sentence sound so serious ya! Norman was complainting that tracy became so lazy tht she stopping shopping but Tracy on another hand was saying “well… I prefer to shop when I go back to Taiwan cause its way cheaper!”

SOOoooo whatever, even if it wasn’t me who is buying, I still felt extremely happily shopping on someone’s behalf. Finally I forced tracy to buy a red tiny polka dot spag strip low V-neck dress. She look super pretty in it!

During the night I went to Connie’s place to disturb pepper and on the way get a box of jelly home. Cunning ar! *Winks*

Dinner with Kai at Hog’s Breath Café at CHIJMES. Remisicing the things we miss out for so long. A year? Can’t remember when was the last time we met and really came out for dinner like tonight ya.

So… now he is back in school. In tourism course, if I am not wrong yingying is in it as well. Oh… she reminds me of her brother. Goodness… do you think he still hates me? I should stop thinking about him probably by now he has already forgets about my name. (thinking positive!)

After dinner we catch a movie at The Cathey, and I manage to watch “When In Rome!” Soooo…. Good! While waiting to be seated, here I am folding with Addias later advertisement into a shoes. Super Bo liao ar!
